Want to get your business or organization noticed AND support a great Community Asset? Well, WCRS sells sponsorships, known as "Underwriting" of programs, to businesses, organizations, and individuals.

What is underwriting?
Underwriting is assistance in the form of money, goods or services provided by businesses and not-for-profit organizations in support of general or specific WCRS programming.

What is the purpose of underwriting?
Underwriting provides operating funds for WCRS,  strengthens WCRS' image within the community and provides opportunities for sponsors to showcase their work and support our programming.

Underwriting Procedures
Announcements must be in compliance with FCC and WCRS rules regarding underwriting and approved by the designated staff member or volunteer.

Both the underwriter's representative and the WCRS representative must have signed the Underwriting Agreement.  

Alll individual underwriting announcements are limited to a maximum of 30 seconds, but may be less.

Underwriting announcements may be for a specific program or for the general support of the station.
